How to Get Your First Rep in Network Marketing with steps

So I want to talk about how you get your new rep in network marketing. So if you’re brand new to network marketing, and you don’t know how to recruit yet stick around for this whole article, make sure to hit that subscribe button.

 Let’s get rocking and rolling. So here’s the deal. First thing you want to do is you want to get known, you want to be visible. It’s all about visibility in network marketing. You want as many people as possible to see your website so they can look at your products and possibly order. 

So I would start with social media. If you’re not on Twitter yet if you’re not on Facebook or LinkedIn or Pinterest or Instagram. I suggest you get a bio about yourself. Write it in a notepad on your computer. It only has to be about two sentences maybe less, just for me I do something like I say: Entrepreneur. Digital nomad. Network marketing Leader, period. Okay, that’s going to be for your buyers, or something like that whatever you want. Then you’re gonna want a headshot of yourself – of your head, not your cat, not a hill behind your house or anything like that, because you’re branding you as a network marketer. 

You are the brand people invest in – you and your knowledge, even if you don’t have knowledge yet we’ll work on that later. So get your Twitter up and running, and you’re going to do a tweet. All right. And the tweets gonna say something like, I just started my new CBD, or whatever product business. Click the link here to take a free tour or something like that, and maybe do another picture of view. You don’t want to be spammy or salesy so don’t promise the world, don’t say that you can make $5,000 a week in two weeks, or don’t make any medical claims, don’t say that your product cures anything. That’s a big no no. 

You just want to be general, you want to recruit business people, entrepreneurs, say you want to talk about how it’s a booming industry, whatever your industry is, say you make a tweet, after you make your bio, and then you can pin that tweet at the very top. There’s a little down arrow next to your tweet to the right hand side, click on that down Down Arrow, it’ll say pin tweet. So you pin that. 

Okay, then everyone who comes to your profile even if you do 20 more tweets that pin tweet will stay at the top, and you want your most important tweet at the top pinned, then you move on to Facebook. You do the same thing you do, maybe a little short little testimonial, and you don’t add your link in the post. What you say is pm me for details. 

Then you pin that post to the top of your Facebook feed so everyone that joins you on Facebook, they can see that pinned post, and if you get private message, then you share your opportunity link, you don’t share your opportunity link in the post on Facebook, then go over to Instagram. 

You do the same thing you make your bio the same bio that you copied in a notepad. Copy that. Then, with Instagram you put your link in your bio. Remember I said, click the link below to check out my business, that’s going to be your landing page link. If you have a blog, it can be to your “about me” or “work with me” page on your blog. 

But if you don’t have a blog, then use your landing page link, the one that captures leads for your business, because you want to generate leads. You want to work your way up to 20 leads a day. 

Then you post a selfie on Instagram and you use about 10 hashtags for network marketing like #mlm #homebusiness #workfromhome.

Alright, so you’re getting out there, you’re getting visible, and that’s good news. Next thing you want to do is start a YouTube channel. You want to use your name. Same bio, and do a little five minute welcome video to my channel, again brand YOU not your product because products come and go. You don’t know how long they’re gonna last so you want to brand you because people in network marketing join you.

All right, so then do a little short video with your phone, upload it to YouTube. Don’t be all salesy or, or spammy just, it’s a welcome video it’s about you. What are your interests, what are your hobbies. Why are you choosing network marketing? Is it to get out of a job, is it to be with friends and family more, is it to improve your health. 

Talk about your story. Then at the end of your video you’re gonna have a call to action, which is what you tell people what to do with a call to action so at the end of your video you say, click the link below this video to take a free tour into my business. Then you put your landing page link, maybe take a free tour and then your link below in the description for your video. 

Then eventually you can start doing more videos but just be yourself, be real. Don’t talk about the business all the time people can see right through you. They want you to be vulnerable and real and honest. So talk about what you know, which is what you do for a living right now and why you want to get out of it. 

Talk about any problems that you have, because people can relate to problems better than they can relate to someone who brags about how much money they make or, you know, any get rich quick kind of hype videos – people don’t like this. 

They want you to just be real and transparent. That’s the new entrepreneur these days, so be real and transparent and talk about you. And then, the type of people you want to help – you want to target people around your age, ideally people that did the same thing you did for a living, because they can relate to you. 

So if you’re a doctor or an engineer, talk about how you can help engineers get more time freedom. They might make a lot of money but they don’t have enough time with their friends and family so target that niche for time freedom, not money because they have plenty of money. That’s what you say at the end of every video. Then eventually you’ll start learning more about network marketing. And you can start doing network marketing training videos because people join trainers, because trainers know what they’re talking about, people join people that know what they’re talking about. 

So, start learning about the profession, there’s going to be a learning curve, your first year is going to suck, but eventually it’s going to get really really good. And it’s all worth it, every tear you shed is going to pay off 10 times in a few years, so don’t even think about quitting, because this is going to be your new business and it’s going to get you home full time. 

And it’s going to help you explore your hobbies and your passions and blow up your life, but the first year or two might suck. Okay, so you got your YouTube up, next thing you want to do is you can do the same thing with Pinterest you can create a Pinterest. 

Do the same bio, and the same headshot. And then you can put your link in the bio for Pinterest and you can start pinning some photographs or whatever you’re interested in. You know whatever your hobbies are and start making boards. 

Now with a board you want to use some really good titles because it might rank in Google. So let’s say that you’re a surfer. You can have a board and call it surfing tips for men. Surfing tips for older men. You want a really good SEO title because that board could show up in Google someday. 

Then lastly you want to do LinkedIn. Even though LinkedIn, it’s not that great, some people dominate with LinkedIn, so do the same thing – bio and headshot. Post your story. 

There you go you got your social media set up, you got your YouTube, and then, depending on what company you’re, they might have clicks that you can buy that go to your website or you can buy leads, you can always try that one time, just to see how they do. 

If not you can do solo ads, you can buy leads, you can buy clicks, remember the name of the game is getting tons of traffic to your websites, to your landing pages. You want people to take that free tour by signing that form. That’s the name of the game that’s how I’ve recruited over 800 people in the last five years, is by just sharing my link, adding some value, creating articles and videos around my links. That’s it. 

That’s all I gotta do. Lastly, if you want. If you have any friends, family members, old contacts, you can email them and say, Hey, I started this new business, it’s going to be huge in five years. It’s going to be a $22 billion industry, or whatever your product is, and then say, you know. Please support me by taking the tour or checking it out.

Say: Hey how are you john? I hope things are great with the family. I started this new business. I really think it’s going to be huge. Please support me and take a look at it, if you will, when you have time. Sincerely, whatever your name is. 

Just be to the point, and people that haven’t heard from you for 20 years might be a little paranoid, you know, just try to try to talk to people that you’ve talked to you within the last year, you know, don’t go hunting down your old friends from 20 years ago, because they’re gonna be like, Oh, what is this -Is this some kind of pyramid? 

So that’s it guys, that is how you get your new rep, and welcome to the journey. Once you taste a little success in MLM you will never go back to your job, I guarantee it.
